Previously, Sarah was a journalist at the Financial Times for nearly 20 years, where she led the paper’s corporate coverage during the financial crisis and later became the FT’s Business Editor.
Early in her career Sarah worked in fund management in the UK and the US, and at the UN Conference for Trade and Development in Geneva. Sarah read English Literature at Clare College, Cambridge and was later awarded an MPhil in Latin American Politics and Economics from St Anthony’s College, Oxford.
Sarah has spent the latter part of her career building bridges between different parts of the investment chain, helping institutional and social investors, policy makers, and regulators work together more effectively in order to deliver positive outcomes for society and the environment. Her work is aligned with Collington Capital’s mission to bridge the gaps between participants in the impact investment chain, driven by the urgent need to transform the financial system to reflect a growing movement from shareholder to stakeholder capitalism.
