Maria Laura is an Associate Partner at Collington Capital and founder of the impact advisory firm Acrux Partners. She has extensive experience structuring sustainable investment vehicles, including Argentina’s first two gender bonds for non-conventional issuers, the country’s first social impact bond, and Bolivia’s Development Bank’s first SDG-aligned sustainable bond framework.
Previously, she served as Head of Global Networks at UNPRI and held senior positions at Pro Mujer, Christian Aid UK and MSF International. She regularly consults for governments and multilateral organizations, including Argentina’s Sustainable Finance Task Force and the Guatemala’s and Peruvian Social Finance Taxonomies. Maria Laura has served as an Ambassador for the Global Seering Group for Impact Investment.
Maria Laura serves as Strategic Business Development Advisor for Pro Mujer International and sits on advisory committees for Fundación La Nación and Mayma. A 2X Forum member and former GSG Board Director, she was named Fellow of Practice at Oxford’s Government Outcomes Lab (2021-2022). She co-founded the Latin American Results-Based Payment Network and LatinSIF, and lectures on Impact Investment at Universidad Di Tella. Maria Laura holds an MSc in Development Studies from the University of London.
