Mark Lovell

Mark Lovell is a Managing Director of Collington Capital. He leads the development of the group’s impact solutions and scaling impact businesses working across the group’s impact advisory partnership, impact investment bank and not-for-profit foundation which facilitates the development and funding of blended finance investment solutions.


Over the past decade, Mark has specialised in impact investment, outcomes-based partnerships and advising ambitious, growth-oriented organisations operating across public sector markets. His work has included fund leadership roles with Big Issue Invest and strategic advisory positions with local authorities, combined authorities, national commissioners and both large scale and disruptive businesses operating across education, health, employment, skills and social care sectors. 

Earlier in his career, Mark served for more than 20 years at A4e including as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman. Mark led the transformation of A4e from a small Sheffield start-up into an international social purpose enterprise delivering employment, skills and social assistance programmes in more than ten countries.

Mark was an Associate Partner with Deloitte and held senior advisory roles with FEDCAP as well as various boards and leadership teams of high-growth enterprises, Mark has served as a non-executive director with CIPFA, Yorkshire Forward and NHS Sheffield. Mark holds a First Class Honours degree in Management Science from the University of Warwick’s Warwick Business School. He was awarded an Executive MBA from the University of Sheffield.

Olivia’s background is in financial services and social impact. She was a Managing Director at JP Morgan and a non-executive Director for many financial services companies including Virgin Money, Investec, Aon, Canada Life and Royal London. Olivia is a Board member of the Impact Investing Institute.

Julia Grant

Julia has extensive experience in social impact investing. She was chief executive of Pro Bono Economics, Impetus, the National Gardens Scheme and Surrey Community Action. Julia has also worked with women’s groups in Zambia and Tanzania and has advised on social investment globally.

Kiron Bose

Kiron has expertise in capital markets, fund management and entrepreneurship particularly in Asia and emerging and frontier markets. He worked at Goldman Sachs in London and Hong Kong, raised capital from investors globally, managed investment funds and co-founded a business in Southeast Asia.

Marina Blinova

Marina is an experienced legal counsel with deep knowledge of securities and investments and experience of wealth management. Previously Marina oversaw the investments of a substantial family office. Marina specialises in UK financial services corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Deborah Drake

Deborah has expertise in microfinance and impact investing in developing markets notably in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. She was a Vice President of Investor Engagement and Research at Accion’s Center for Financial Inclusion and is Director of the Financial Inclusion Equity Council.
